Millennium Center is looking for people interested into becoming a volunteer in Romania getting involved into activities in the project Stakeholders in action.

The project “Connecting cultures – Building Europe” aims at gathering 15 EVS volunteers and 30 youth volunteers from Arad County whom in 6 month will take part in different thematic workshops (shaping pottery, theatre, sportive and modern dance, photo-report/photographic art, folk music band and popular dances, light music band) and in the end at some overall activities.
The volunteers are going to develop together with members of 5 local youth organizations a local art and culture promotion campaign and are going to create a documentary regarding the importance of active participation in the local community and EVS experience. Moreover, those who are to benefit from this project are going to organize a local event “Arad Voluntar Fest”, a good opportunity for bringing in front of the local public theatre plays, dances and songs, an exhibition of ceramics and photographic art, a junction of all project activities.
The project will basically focus on the customs of local minorities, the participants at the project having the possibility of making research in Deutsch, Serb, Slovakian, Hungarian, Romanian and Jewish languages, all minorities present in Arad County.
